Doing these restaurant lifestyle photography sessions with Downriggers is one of our favorite ongoing projects. Mostly because it means we get to go spend a couple of days in Friday Harbor, eat delicious food, and hang out with their awesome team.

Like with many restaurant photo shoots, we deeply focused on Downriggers' team and the culture behind the scenes. Friday Harbor is situated right at the ferry docks of San Juan Island and gets incredibly busy during summer. Fortunately, Downriggers has a loyal international body of employees that travel to work with them each year during this rush. The whole team has such a vibrant personality, and it's always a pleasure to spend time creating with them.

The gallery below is comprised of 4 days of shoots over the course of two different summers. We widely focused on producing Reels for their Instagram during our second visit. They are not only about the restaurant, but about Friday Harbor, its culture and its history. We learned a lot about our little home away from home and had such a blast.
